The “GEP – Giornate Europee del Patrimonio”
Every year for two days in September, Italy participates in the EU’s ‘European Heritage Days’ the aim of which is to emphasize the central role of cultural heritage and bring together participating communities.
From the most famous museums to non-state museums, comuni, galleries, foundations and private associations will each provide a colourful and varied cultural offering as they open up their doors day and night to show off their treasures and celebrate their diverse history and identity.
Patrimonio culturale: TUTTI inclusi!”
The theme of the 2021 European Heritage Days is ‘Heritage: All inclusive’. A reflection on cultural heritage that embraces and extends to all citizens, of all age groups, ethnic groups, minorities in the area, and people with disabilities.
