Discover the Bubbly Soul of Abruzzo Though an Exciting New Project to Promote Abruzzo Bubbles Around the World!
The Life In Abruzzo team are thrilled to share an exclusive pop-up invitation for you to spend an afternoon at VINCO, Abruzzo’s new spumante winery collective in Ortona!
We will be having a tour, a tasting of 4 of these tantalising spumante wines that will be accompanied by a delicious aperitivo menu.
We’ll learn all about the indigenous grapes that make these wines, how they are created using the Italian Method and how to pair these new Spumante d’Abruzzo DOC “Trabocco” wines.
We’ll hear too how this collective project intends to become the sparkling wine centre for central and southern Italy.
It’s a super exclusive as we’re the first ‘tourist group’ to have been invited to experience this project, all thanks to the Life In Abruzzo wine guru Luana Di Lorito Coletta, a big thank you to her! We anticipate our date to be educational, fun and memorable, celebrating the essence of Abruzzo’s rich wine heritage and its native grapes over the finest bubbly! This is the only chance to try these refreshing light, crisp wines till September when the winery will reopen!
VINCO was born from the courage and grit of a group of Abruzzo winemakers with a big dream: to make the region’s native grapes known and valued by producing sparkling wines by the Italian Method with an agricultural supply chain entirely “made in Abruzzo”. Temperatures and Weather Forecast
We will do our best to keep this calendar up to date, however in the case of last-minute cancellations due to adverse weather conditions, Covid outbreaks and so forth this may not always be possible. In these cases, you should contact the event organiser for a refund as we are not responsible for the events on the calendar, only compiling them into an easy list. As soon as we have news from an organiser when any event will be rescheduled we will update the calendar accordingly.
