Join us to celebrate the feasting season and an early Christmas in Abruzzo on Monday 12th December! The holiday season is a time of cheer, and we are looking forward to coming together and sharing fantastic food and Famiglia Febo wine at Spoltore’s Osteria La Corte.

The event is open to everyone, but if you own a business in Abruzzo, it may be particularly useful! We’ll be having 2 short 15-minute discussions:
- On Life In Abruzzo’s 2023 change to a collaborative cultural association and how that can help local businesses.
- On the fabulous creation of an English-speaking women in business club within Abruzzo.
You may have retired, but your wealth of experience could be just what somebody else needs in difficult times, so do come along for some great company. Naturally, partners are very welcome to come along too.
Natural, Organic Wine Tasting by Family Febo
In recognition of the importance of the Life in Abruzzo community, the magical boutique cantina Famiglia Febo is donating 4 of their organic natural wines for a FREE tasting during our event. Each has been carefully paired with each sumptuous course to delicately pull in seasonal aromas and tastes from Abruzzo’s mountains and coast.
Our Host
Osteria La Corte is based in Spoltore (PE), conveniently located just outside Pescara, to allow everyone travelling in from different provinces to be able to easily meet up. Chef Maurizio Della Valle, who is as famous for his charm as his cuisine, creates a modern twist on traditional flavours and dishes and has devised a 4-course light lunch for us to revel in.

(One of our FB group members has highlighted that the Christmas Market on Corso Umberto I, Pescara is open that day if anyone would like to visit before or after!)
How to Book
Pre-booking is essential! We suggest booking as soon as possible as places are limited, but to allow for people’s cash flow, online reservations will be available until Friday 9th December.
The total cost of €40 includes all card processing and Paypal fees and a €2 donation to the charity, On the Road Società Cooperativa Sociale which helps trafficked women and their children in Abruzzo, Molise and Le Marche become autonomous.
Transparency breakdown: the Life In Abruzzo team does not receive any funds from organising this lunch.
