il Monte Farmhouse is a ‘Home Restaurant’, a holiday rental and also the name of our smallholding on Colle Zingaro in the heart of Abruzzo’s Chieti Province. Here you can experience Abruzzo through its amazing flavours: we offer themed food experiences, creatively using the best seasonal, homegrown and foraged produce. We grow organic vegetables, fruit and herbs, and raise goats, geese and ducks, Marta is also an expert forager. We also provide food experiences at private properties and offer cooking and foraging workshops.

A cosy farmhouse for holiday lets, sleeps up to 4 in 2 bedrooms (1+1, 2). Rural setting among Chieti's green hills, with less than an hour's drive to the beach or Maiella mountains. Renovated 2-storey stone building from late 1800s, over 2 floors. Bathroom, kitchen, dining area, sitting room, toilet and a scenic terrace, parking, WiFi throughout. Home made meals prepared for the guests (optional), foraging and cooking experiences available on site.
