Jane & Biagio Impesi
Jane & Biagio Impesi
We're Jane and Biagio, and we've called Abruzzo home for six years. Our story started ten years ago when we fell for a farmhouse in Pollutri, complete with a lavender field and over a thousand plants. Since then we've lovingly renovated three more properties, each with its own character. Biagio is a keen gardener and cook with deep local knowledge. He's happy to point you to the best spots, and may even rustle up an authentic Italian meal or host a picnic among the lavender. Jane is a secondary school English teacher with a passion for the outdoors. We're also devoted dog owners, including Dumbo, a characterful hound who arrived uninvited via our compost heap and never left. We harvest our lavender every July and produce our own essential oil, soap and lavender bags. If you'd like to know anything about the area, we're always happy to help make your stay special.
