Remembrance Sunday Service at the Val di Sangro CWGC Cemetery

Sunday 9 November 2025 @ 10:30 - 11:30 CET

 

A small Remembrance Service will be held at the Val di Sangro CWGC Cemetery on Sunday, 10th November for the 2617 British, Canadian, Australian, Indian, South African and New Zealanders who died during the Second World War and are laid to rest here. If you wish to attend, please aim to arrive between 10.30 and 10.45.

 

The short service will be centred around two minutes’ silence and the laying of a wreath at 11.00. There will be poppies, a Royal British Legion collecting tin, poems, and a song. All are welcome. Please spread the word. If anyone would like to read a poem or take part in some way, please let Stuart MacRostie know.
