New to Teramo? Join me, Sonya from Abruzzo Sister Tours, for a gentle familiarisation walk designed especially for those settling into the area. This isn’t a history tour – it’s a practical and friendly stroll and meander through town to help you feel at home faster and answer all those ‘Where do I questions’ that you may have if Teramo is your new nearest city!

After a delicious pastry and coffee , I’ll show you where to:

  • Register your permesso di soggiorno
  • Have the best aperitivo
  • Find the best local Chinese restaurant when you want a change from great Teramana food
  • Post letters, pay bills when the post office is closed and print things
  • Buy the right SIM card network and avoid the ones with poor local connectivity
  • Discover the local market rhythms and food gems
  • Talk up the best local house management companies
  • The most interesting historic spots to visit with good friends

Life is so much easier when guided by a now resident who has already walked your path and who was lucky, as most of my family lived in the city!   If you would like to stay on and have lunch for a few more tips and stories, we can arrange this!

We will do our best to keep this calendar up to date, however in the case of last-minute cancellations due to adverse weather conditions, Covid outbreaks and so forth this may not always be possible.  In these cases, you should contact the event organiser for a refund as we are not responsible for the events on the calendar, only compiling them into an easy list.  As soon as we have news from an organiser when any event will be rescheduled we will update the calendar accordingly.
