Arsita – Chestnuts and Foliage Seasonal Walk and Lunch

Abruzzo has many spectacular vistas, but this chestnut and foliage walk from Arsita up to Fondo della Salsa is one of the best, for a breathtaking view of the Gran Sasso massif. Criss-cross autumnal woods surrounded by colours that are nothing short of “magical” to reach Fondo della Salsa and from here observe the north face of Mount Camicia, where, according to some, you will be under “the Eiger of the Apennines”.

🌰 At the end of the excursion, lunch, pasta, sausages and vegetables with wine and roast chestnuts accompanied by excellent mulled wine🫕
🔹️Cost for lunch: 15 euros for adults, 10 euros for children under 10 years old.

Meeting and Departure Point Bar-Ristorante Perino at 07.30 am. In case of bad weather there will just be lunch!
