An all night celebration held in Atri is the La Notte dei Faugni. This is an ancient, agricultural tradition, the "Fauni Ignis", the fires of Fauno, when its streets become "rivers of fire"
Ndocciata di Agnone is an event that takes place twice in December, consisting of a parade of huge torches (handcrafted silver fir trunks filled with broom), along the course of the city that is lined with locals to create a river of fire!

La Serenate delle Chezette is busking Scanno style. Through a simple serenade, your reward is a meal and company in the deep dark winter. It takes place on the eve of Epiphany (5th Jan), villagers hang up a sock and sing this traditional folk song called the Chezette.
