Canistro Superiore – Sapori d’Autunno (Tastes of Autumn)

The Autumn Flavors Festival, celebrating the chestnut and other regional products of Roveto Valley, returns to the historic village of Canistro Superiore (AQ) on Sunday, 15th October, 2023. This vibrant event is organised by the “Donne 2000” Association and has become a cherished tradition, a captivating blend of colours and tastes that show off the autumn harvest with traditional meals and customs that revive bygone traditions.
The town will be adorned with festive decorations, and its unique specialities will be available throughout the area. However, the most coveted spot will always be the one dedicated to the Roscetta di Canistro chestnut, a true source of pride during the local autumn season.
