Our latest reviews of  guidebooks, fact, fiction  and historical books, film & music that are based in Abruzzo. There is clutch of home-bred authors that we still need to read from Ignazio Silone to Ovid.

Often films shot in Abruzzo are viewed without even being aware that they were filmed in the region for example the beautiful Fox & Child & of course In the Name of the Rose that we watched so long ago we’ll need to download it again just to write a review!

Literature festivals in Abruzzo include ‘MyFather’s God‘, organised by the family of the late author John Fante in his hometown of Toricella Peligna whilst Scanno, Henri Cartier Bresson holds Natura Doc a festival competition celebrating the art  and those that make nature documentaries.
