Le Farfalle Abruzzo is a charming farmhouse apartment with a pool in the Abruzzo countryside, about 5km from the traditional hilltop town of Casoli. It’s an ideal base for a long-term rental in Abruzzo while you get to know the region, settle in, or wait for your house restoration to finish.

Set at the foot of the Majella Mountains and only 25km from the Adriatic coast, you can enjoy both peaceful mountain living and easy access to beaches. There is also a wide range of local culture, food and wine, and outdoor activities nearby. With nature right outside, this is a great place to experience Abruzzo, settle in, and start living at an Italian pace without feeling rushed.

For the past few years, we have rented out these two lovely apartments as holiday lets. This year, we decided to offer something new.

We now offer 6-month rentals for anyone interested in a longer stay in Abruzzo. Whether you want to explore the region, write a book, work remotely, or just enjoy the local culture at a slower pace, this could be a great fit. Please note that the rental price does not include the electricity bill, and subletting is not allowed.

The apartment offers easy access to everything you might want on your doorstep: mountains and beaches, as well as supermarkets, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants.

This area has a rich history and plenty to explore, from traditional hilltop towns and local castles to walking parts of the Gustav Line.

There are festivals and events throughout the year in the local area, many of which take place during Ferragosto in August.
