La Serenata is a townhouse located right in the heart of the historical centre of Montefino, in the hills between the sea and the mountains, 20 minutes from Atri and 30 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Pineto.

Montefino is a little gem of a town with breathtaking views of the Gran Sasso mountains and offers the opportunity to become part of an authentic Italian community. The town has a bar, and a pizzeria, and each day of the week comes a street vendor to the piazza (baker, fishmonger…). The property’s foundations have been completely redone and only the top floor would now need some modernization for full-time living.

Right now the house is organized into 2 independent apartments that could be reunited through the internal stairs, and one independent studio space with a modern shower room. The main entrance of the house is accessible by car and opens onto a fully renovated unit with a kitchen, a large bedroom, a balcony and a large shower room. The fireplace has been closed during the renovation but it could easily be reinstalled. Upstairs, there is a kitchen, a small shower room, and 3 bedrooms with views and a large balcony. This balcony made us come up with the name of the house, La Serenata, an annual festival in Montefino, celebrating the Abruzzese tradition of shepherds singing to their fiancee before leaving on their transumanza.
