Farchie Fara Filiorum Petri
16 January @ 15:00 - 17 January @ 06:00 CET

Victory re-enactments come in all shapes and sizes across Abruzzo and Fara Filiorum Petri’s combustible one is one of the highlights in the calendar! Travel Tips
- Try the homemade cakes, delicious and do make a good offering. Despite this event being such a spectacle on the Abruzzo agenda they don’t receive a penny in cultural funding.
- The old ladies of the town will have bagged the spectators’ area so there is no point arriving early on this count.
- Parking is incredibly organised we arrived at 3.45 and still managed to get into the car park.
- Look up to the stars squint as ash and bits do fly about.
- Restaurants will be closed but arrosticini and sausages accompanied by mulled wine etc are available
