There are plenty of ‘pizza bianca’ options to sample and you cannot leave or say you have visited Abruzzo without trying the fabled potato and sausage option. Crust wise, expect to find a mixture of Napolitan with a puffed crust that is cooked for just 90 seconds or the skinnier, crisper Roman-style version.
