Teramo’s Cascata di Casanova, located within the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park and part of the municipality of Cortino, is a stunning family-friendly waterfall with icy cascades and a crystal-clear pool tucked deep within lush, green woodland.
Reaching it is part of the experience — a 40-minute walk along mostly shady forest paths brings you to this refreshing spot. There are two route options: a gentle, more direct trail perfect for younger children, and a steeper, more adventurous path better suited to older teens and adults.
