Each summer we return from Rhode Island to stay in my ancestral home in Prezza (AQ) just outside Sulmona, a small medieval village nicknamed the ‘Balcony of Abruzzo’ by Harpers & Bazaar.
We host our inclusive tours in Sulmona in a stunning restored boutique monastery. Our guided excursions include truffle hunting in Roccascalegna, sausage making in Prezza, Sulmona market tours to name just a few and we offer private cooking classes in Sulmona and Prezza.

A newly restored modern apartment with all mod cons is just 10 minutes from the A25 Autostrada.
Conveniently located in the medieval village of Prezza, nicknamed the ‘Balcony of Abruzzo’ by Harpers Bazaar and famous for its May artichoke festa. The apartment is a light open plan airy space with a well-equipped kitchen and sofa bed for guests with children, centrally heated and with air conditioning. There is a modern bathroom with shower cubicle, wi-fi and US TV channels are available free of use.
