The #CookForUkraine: Abruzzo Peace Raffle is an extraordinary collection of food, wine and hospitality prizes that reflect the wonderful bio-diversity and generosity of this region of central Italy. Funds will be donated to UNICEF, and tickets cost just €10, making it an affordable, and international way to donate and potentially win a memory-making prize.
It seemed obvious to Life in Abruzzo to create the ‘Mother of all Raffles’. Abruzzo is famous for having Italy’s oldest cookery school, for its people being strong and kind, it also has one of the largest populations in Italy who have had to leave their family, friends and homes for economic reasons, hunger and to chase work as well as earthquakes over the last 150 years.
Less card processing fees the maximum amount from each donation will be gifted to UNICEF. We believe they are the experts, used to war zones who can best determine how to spend funds wisely to protect and normalise these children’s future.
UNICEF has noted that 7.5 million children are at risk in Ukraine, 16 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance, 2.9 million children are in need of immediate help.
Tickets will be drawn on Friday 1st April and winners will be notified by email.
